Office Clerk

Friscia & Ross PA is hiring for an entry-level position as an office clerk in our law office. Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Filing correspondence and legal documents according to the office filing system; coordinating with records management.
Filing documents with various courts.
Answering, screening, and assisting with routine telephone calls per attorney instructions.
Assisting attorneys with routing client bills for processing.
Processing incoming and outgoing mail, correspondence, and pleadings. Opening mail, sorting, stamping and organizing.
Enter attorney time, client costs and expenses and other routine data entry.
Assist in preparation and editing of monthly invoices for clients and apply payments to invoices.
Open and close legal files.
Perform clerical and other related duties to assist attorneys and staff.

Potential for promotion to legal assistant or entry level bookkeeping positions.

Position is entry-level. The firm has strong systems in place for all duties. Must be able to work in a collegial, team-orientated environment. AA degree preferred; however high school diploma or equivalent will be considered. 40 hours per week. No overtime, nights, or weekends.
