The Application Support Specialist is an entry level technical support position responsible for assisting customers with issues within the company's propriety application. The position requires an ability to gain a strong working understanding of the application in order to provide call and email support to field and corporate users. This entry level position has training to learn the application and has a strong opportunity for promotion into other positions within the support delivery team.
Responsibilities:
- Management and resolution of routine e-mail requests from corporate.
- Act as liaison with the development team for production support
- Investigate and escalate application issues while identifying workarounds when applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in any field, Information Technology degree's preferred.
- Ability to provide call center support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accountability
- Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills
