Job Description:
The Director will oversee the efficient delivery of technical services to our clients, ensuring high quality implementations, support and customer satisfaction. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership as well as strong management skillsets, and a deep understanding of public safety and justice technical service delivery processes with a focus on Criminal Justice Information Services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spearhead and ensure efficient workflow by streamlining service roadmaps, setting goals, managing budgets and schedules as well as coordinating with the Public Safety and Justice Principal, Senior Managers, Individual Contributors and other personnel as needed
- Ensure quality of service is provided to clients
- Liaison with internal and external parties to build positive relationships
- Managing development and technical teams, training employees, and maintaining customer relationships
- Develop strategies to optimize operations and enhance service delivery within Public Safety and Justice
- Lead and manage the technical service delivery team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery processes and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Business Development, Product Development, and Business Service Delivery to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Define service delivery standards, KPIs, and metrics; monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as a key escalation point for critical client technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic guidance on technical solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to service delivery
- Prepare and present reports to leadership on service delivery performance, issues, and recommendations
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of public sector experience in public safety and justice or technology service delivery
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the CJIS Security Policy, NCIC, Nlets, and related market trends.
- This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home and from our office located in North Andover, MA. The specific days in the office will be determined based on team needs and individual preferences. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass CORI check for CJIS Certification.
