Job Description: We are seeking diligent and tech-savvy individuals to join our team as Lead Field Tester for an autonomous car. In this role, you will test and provide feedback on the Rider app during real-world scenarios. Your insights will help improve the app’s functionality, usability, and reliability, ensuring a smooth rider experience as we scale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test the Ride app during real-world rides, both simulated and live.
- Interact with the app as a typical user would, following guided routes or spontaneous trips.
- Document and report any app-related issues, bugs, or inconsistencies during the testing process.
- Provide detailed feedback on user interface, navigation, and overall app usability.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to suggest improvements based on user experience.
- Participate in various test scenarios that reflect real-world use cases, including different times of day and environmental conditions.
- Assist in refining user guides and documentation for future users.
Long Term Expectations
You will also oversee a team of field testers in various geo across US, manage the end-to-end testing process, and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Create Training documentation and train any newly added team members.
Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app testing or quality assurance.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, and app interfaces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow testing protocols, and make quick decisions.
- Comfortable with providing constructive feedback and engaging in discussions with technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with rideshare or mobility apps.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicles and transportation technology.
- Previous customer experience or user experience (UX) testing.
Work Environment:
- Fieldwork involving real-time testing in different locations within the same city and under varied conditions.
- May involve taking multiple trips within a specific geographic area to fully evaluate the app experience.
- Periodic travel may be required depending on testing regions.
