SSAB has immediate opportunity for a Data Warehouse Developer Analyst to join our growing team in Axis, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, test and implement database programs, reports and cubes while monitoring the data flow between databases servers, and troubleshooting of all activities relating to a variety of Data Warehouse processes.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience ETL package development in a Data Warehouse environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, test and implement database programs, reports and cubes as assigned by the Data Architect/Manager.
- Assist in the design of data systems in collaboration with the data architecture manager, architects, analysts, application developers, project managers and system owners.
- Develop, test, implement and maintain Data Warehouse/BI components including but not limited to: Database Schema Changes, Report and Cube development.
- Responsible for managing dataflow using Tableau and other Business Intelligence toolsets
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- 2+ years of experience ETL package development, process mapping and data source to target mapping in a data warehouse/reporting environment.
- Proven SQL experience designing, developing, and deploying schema changes, reports, queries, stored procedures, and functions (Microsoft SQL 2008 required, 2012 a plus).
- Experience with SSAS cube development and Excel Pivot tables preferred
- Understanding of SAP ERP systems a plus
