About the Role:
The right candidate must have a strong grasp of cash management skills, experience with reconciliation and bookkeeping skills, and exceptional organizational skills. The candidate needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to improve workflow and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the monthly financial reporting package in accordance with GAAP guidelines
- Overseeing the organization’s daily accounting functions
- Maintaining general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting schedules
- Managing the payroll duties
- Preparation of the 13-week cash budget
- Creating and maintaining monthly forecasts
- Oversees the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
- Organizing and reconciling statements and receipts with multiple accounts
- Working with the executive team to guide the organization’s financial decisions
- Coordinates and prepares internal and external financial reports
- Hiring, training, and managing accounting staff
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related area or equivalent
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- CPA license highly preferred but not required
- Understanding EBITDA
- Experience working with treasury functions, bank / equity communication, and quarterly covenant calculations
- Quickbooks experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- High-level organizational skills with an accurate attention to detail
- The ability to follow and develop processes
- Mastery in multitasking and prioritizing
- Problem solving skills
- The ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
Salary contingent on experience.
