About the Job:
We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for overseeing a range of customer project orders, from small enclosed control systems to complex e-House projects. This position involves initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing customer projects to exceed expectations. The Project Manager will manage projects that include Electrical Enclosures (e-Houses) with electrical distribution and automation control systems, HVAC, fire and gas systems, and additional customer features and services. The role encompasses the entire job process from order preparation, manufacturing release, product shipment, post-shipment support, and financial reconciliation, utilizing knowledge of electrical products and processes.
Responsibilities
- Project Initiation: Validate the project's scope, schedule, cost, and contract terms with the customer, including risks, technical, and commercial elements. Serve as the lead contact for the customer during project execution.
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain project organization, schedule, and risk register. Communicate with the customer to ensure expectations are met. Engage directly with the customer, internal manufacturing facilities, and third-party vendors.
- Project Execution: Monitor project execution through kick-off meetings, project schedules, and communication. Manage decision-making processes for cross-functional effectiveness. Drive risk and change management, resolving issues with customer interaction for positive feedback and improved relationships.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Oversee project performance, including task completion verification, project team monitoring, and project updates. Report project performance indicators to key stakeholders.
- Project Closeout: Lead project closeout, including financial reconciliation, equipment arrival verification, installation, start-up coordination, and training support completion. Serve as the point of contact with the customer and coordinate with support services. Capture lessons learned and document approvals for future projects.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Project, and Excel.
- Results-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong decision-making and conflict management skills, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
Education
- Four-year degree required.
- BS degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
- PMP (PMI) or CPMP/CPMA SE Internal Certification preferred.
