The IT Security Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining controls that support and enhance the Information Security Program.
The IT Security Administrator will perform regular security checks to confirm all aspects of the Information Security program are compliant with the IS Program. The IT Security Administrator will track all security checks, document said checks and report the results to Management. The IT Security Administrator will remediate any issues or escalate to the appropriate resource for remediation, tracking issues to closure.
The IT Security Administrator will assist with maintaining system inventories and perform regular audits of inventories to ensure accuracy.
The IT Security Administrator will be heavily involved in Industry Standard Compliance Audits and will assist with responding to and gathering evidence related to security questionnaires from clients and vendors.
This position is expected to operate under minimal supervision and work with other staff members, peers and business partners on projects to maintain technical infrastructure systems, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Requires 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in an Information Security related role
- Requires thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Requires knowledge of PCI, ISO 27001 and HITRUST controls
- Requires knowledge of NIST standards
- Requires ability to work effectively as a team member, collaborating, contributing and cooperating with IT team members
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- CISSP or Industry Standard Security Accreditation is a plus
