Scheduling and Team Coordination Responsibilities include:
* Learning and mastering our AxisCare scheduling system
* Knowing the availability, qualifications and needs of our caregivers
* Matching caregivers and clients based on care requirements, then on personality needs
* Monitor the schedule daily to make sure caregivers have arrived to their shifts in a timely manner
* Contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes
* Maintain positive relationships with all clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, fellow team members and referral sources
* React immediately to any emergencies or no-shows
* Confirm caregivers are prepared properly, have actually confirmed their acceptance of shifts, have directions, and any collateral material/information as needed
* Monitor caregiver time off requests to ensure they follow company policies
* Communicate and reinforce the policies and procedures of AMADA
* Monitor any changes in schedule and inform all appropriate parties via phone
* Adhere to HIPPA requirements by maintaining absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients, and client’s families
* Keep meticulous notes and update documentation in system
* Accept on-call shifts which include some weekend coverage
* Project a caring, honorable, and inclusive environment in the office and to all who interact with us
* Maintain calmness when emergencies occur
* Able to multitask with professionalism in a time sensitive manner
* Ability to never assume anything - confirm, confirm, confirm
* Ability to remain flexible, positive, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image.
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Ability to proof and validate own work – details, details, details
* Flexibility to see a problem through even if it means working into the night or transferring all information to a team member
* Able to work in a team within a fast-paced environment
* Level-headed
* Care-giving experience preferred
* Able to accept some evening calls and some weekend calls on a pre-scheduled basis
* Associate Degree or Higher Preferred (will accept equivalent experience)
* Prior home care scheduling a plus but not required
