Software Architect - Houston, Texas

Our client, a leading healthcare company in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Software Architect to drive their next wave of technological innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of software solutions using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Architect microservices-based systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, ACR, and Azure Key Vault.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish architectural guidelines and best practices.
- Ensure code quality and reliability through unit testing and observability tools like OpenTelemetry.
- Optimize data access and management using MS SQL, Linq, and Entity Framework.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Drive the development of mobile applications using MAUI for iOS and Android platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role.
- Expertise in C# and .NET Framework, with strong knowledge of .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of architectural styles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ACR, and Azure Key Vault.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and RabbitMQ.
- Proficient in unit testing frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for observability.
- Expertise in MS SQL, Linq, and Entity Framework (EF).
- Experience developing mobile applications using MAUI for iOS and Android.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Location: Houston, Texas, USA / Remote Working
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
