We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Inside Sales Representative to manage the order process from initial inquiry through to delivery. This role involves preparing quotes, entering orders, and coordinating shipments, all while working closely with customers and distribution personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of customer service or inside sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management: Oversee the entire order process from inquiry to delivery. This includes preparing quotes, entering orders into the system, and coordinating shipment schedules.
Customer Interaction: Communicate daily or weekly with customers via phone and email regarding quotes, order status, product availability, delivery times, and shipment tracking.
Sales Maximization: Work to maximize sales within the existing territory by ensuring customers purchase a full range of products, including those from other divisions. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the territory by adding new accounts and product lines.
Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all product lines to effectively expand the basket of offerings within the territory and ensure customers are informed about the full range of products and capabilities.
Account Management: Build and manage an account database by understanding customers' business needs and organizational structures. Develop relationships to access parent companies, sister divisions, and subcontractors to maximize customer potential.
Coordination: Collaborate with other divisions and entities to leverage the company's full range of offerings and address customer needs comprehensively.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to identify and assess potential business opportunities.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any shipping, pricing, or shortage discrepancies to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably within a similar industry.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
