The qualified Special Education Teacher will act as the patients' partner throughout their daily tasks and assist patients to function at their personal best. Responsibilities of a Special Education Teacher:
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Plan and implement tailored instructional strategies for diverse learners.
• Provide direct instruction in inclusive or specialized settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student inclusion.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Offer behavioral support and social skill development.
• Coordinate resources and services for students and families.
• Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices.
• Ensure legal compliance with special education laws and regulations.
• Advocate for the rights and inclusion of students with disabilities.
