Azure DevOps Engineer
LHH is currently conducting a direct hire search for an Azure DevOps Engineer in Phoenix, AZ with great Cloud experience. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing office and a collaborative team. Review the job requirements below and please apply if you feel you are a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development and quality assurance teams and provide support for the deployment pipeline
- Will be responsible for daily, hands-on work with Azure
- Ensure that all system configuration for servers are placed into configuration management and ensure that provisioning of systems are done in a reliable, repeatable, and consistent manner
- Build new project templates for team city and octopus deploy for use by development teams for "self-service" application deployments
- Reduce the amount of time fixing and troubleshooting configuration differences
- Allow for deployment of systems into new or varied environments
- Assist the release manager to ensure an automated deployment pipeline is successful all the way through to production. Ensure that system configurations in the deployment pipeline all the way through to production are configured reliably, consistently, and transparently
- Reduce the amount of time to provision new systems
- Create tools and processes that improve the ability to provision systems quickly
- Ensure that all tools and processes are documented and checked into version control, treating infrastructure and deployments as code
- Assist with systems engineer and release manager duties, providing backup as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems Operations
- Experience working with Azure in a hands-on technical capacity is required
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Ideal candidates will have a background in Enterprise environments
- Experience with having worked at a company with 2,000+ employees is also highly preferred
