THE OPPORTUNITY
KFA is seeking a Senior Project Manager who brings diverse expertise with over 15 years in drainage design, ready to lead significant highway and roadway projects. This pivotal role requires effective collaboration with transportation agencies including TxDOT, RMAs, and local counties, to endure the successful execution of projects.
The Primary Responsibilities Of The Senior Project Manager Include
- Oversee the entire design process, from crafting proposals, scopes of work, to the detailed development of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports.
- Manage a diverse array of tasks, ensuring projects remain on budget and schedule, while leading project teams and maintaining client relationships.
- Coordinate seamlessly with various project disciplines and subcontractors to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Requirements
- PE License in Texas
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- 15+ Years of experience in Transportation Drainage projects including planning, design, and construction
- Project Management and Task Lead experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with MicroStation, GEOPAK or ORD
- TxDOT Pre-certifications 10.1.1, 10.2.1 at a minimum
Preferred Qualifications
- TCEQ water quality design experience
- Experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS
- GIS experience
- Familiarity with advanced modeling software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS 2D, InfoWorks ICM
