Overview
Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to join our leadership team. This pivotal role serves as the Integrator within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) model, ensuring the smooth operation and advancement of our church’s mission and vision. The ideal candidate is an organized, confident, and systems-oriented leader who is open-minded, open-hearted, and not showy.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
· Serve as the Integrator within the EOS model, aligning the church’s operations with its strategic goals.
· Provide leadership and oversight to church staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
· Manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all church activities.
· Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance organizational performance.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
· Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
· Ensure implementation and alignment of vision across ministry program staff and operational activities.
· Monitor progress toward goals, provide regular updates, and adjust as needed.
· Serve as Liaison to the PHPC Staff Committee, ensuring long term staff cohesion.
· Facilitate PHPC Board planning, ensuring processes are in place to further the work of the board.
· Directly supervise the Director of Finance and Operations and the Senior Associate Pastor.
Community Engagement:
· Represent the church staff within the PHPC and broader community, fostering positive relationships and partnerships.
· Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all congregants and visitors.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in executive leadership and management.
· Strong understanding of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or similar frameworks.
· Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing systems and processes to drive organizational success.
· Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
· Confident and polished communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Open-minded and open-hearted approach to leadership, fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.
