Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for General Medicine Providers Location: Near GIG HARBOR, WA Assignment Details: Are you a dedicated General Medicine Provider looking for an exciting opportunity to serve our nation, a Maximus company, is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country. Details: Start Date: ASAP - ongoing Availability: Block-time availability is preferred but willing to accept providers with sporadic availability on an as-needed basis. Location Preference: All General Medicine providers must reside or have an office within 50 miles of the VES site, unless otherwise stated. Specific Cities of Interest: Olympia or West of Olympia, Wenatchee, Everett Credentialing: Quick credentialing & onboarding process Qualifications: Board Certification in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension. Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions. Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Must own a personal laptop (No Apple Laptops/MACs). Exam Details: One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing. No prescribing, no treatment Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is completion of standardized form(s). Additional Notes: DMA certification available (can earn CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified. Use of Goniometer required. Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Evaluations to be completed in VES's provider portal. Record review is required in most cases.
