Research Associate
Responsibilities
• Learn and assist in the design and execution of cutting edge nanomedicine experiments, while respecting deadlines
• Document, compile, analyze and interpret experimental data
• Record results accurately to ensure data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance.
• Learn and assist in the analysis of data generated from experiments using various methods, including numerical methods, and generate thoughtful interpretations of the collected information.
• Follow SOPs for various lab processes and a maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of all equipment within the lab.
• Maintain excellent organizational skills required for maintenance of notebook record, equipment use and maintenance logs, test run logs, and other documentation, as necessary.
• Perform other R&D duties and tasks as needed
• Maintain a safe work environment by following the company Quality and Safety standards as required
Qualification:
• Minimum: Associate of Science degree or higher in Life Science or Engineering disciplines or related fields
• 0-2 years hands-on experience in an R&D laboratory or equivalent.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess problem solving skills
• Experience with experimental design and execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong collaborative skills.
• Able to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Strong work ethic, able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Knowledge of common laboratory practice concepts and practices and procedures is a plus
