Position Summary:
Our Office-Based Loan Originators are essential to the growth of our company by building lasting relationships with real estate agents, brokers, financial advisors, and other referral partners. This role is designed for professionals who thrive on client interaction, take a personalized approach to every transaction, and are committed to delivering a 5-STAR client experience. You will have the autonomy to build and manage your business, supported by our team and resources to help you succeed.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Referral Partner Development: Build and nurture relationships with real estate agents, financial advisors, and other referral partners to create a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Consultation: Meet with potential borrowers in-person, over the phone, or virtually to assess their financial situation and provide tailored mortgage solutions that meet their needs.
- Application Process: Guide clients through the mortgage application process, collect and submit all necessary documents, and evaluate their creditworthiness to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process.
- Collaboration: Work with our 3rd party processors, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate timely and accurate submission of loan files from application to closing.
- Client Experience: Deliver a customized, client-focused experience by providing clear communication, professional guidance, and going the extra mile to build trust and satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all industry regulations, lending guidelines, and company policies to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Actively seek new business opportunities, create marketing strategies, and participate in community events to enhance your network and grow your client base.
What We Need From You:
- Required Qualifications:
- Current MLO license for 1+ years.
- 1-2+ years of mortgage industry experience.
- 1+ years of sales experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and building lifelong client relationships.
