Supportive Services Case Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Supportive Services Case Manager for our nonprofit client located in South Central LA. This role will be a contract-to-hire opportunity and will be 100% onsite working environment. The role will be focused on supporting our client's program participants in an interim housing environment to get immediate healthcare, necessary documentation, and work towards a more stable housing living situation.
Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with the homeless demographic. This includes individuals who are experiencing mental health ailments and/or substance abuse disorders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Minimum 1 year of case management/social work experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide array of internal and external contacts
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure situation and de-escalate situations as needed
- Compassionate and empathetic towards others while being able to maintain a professional work boundary
- Can work well independently and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Able to work well within different software systems including Microsoft Office
