Opportunity: Medical Coordinator with Credentialing Experience ( Short Term Contract )
Location: Orange, California - REMOTE or ONSITE| Position: Full-Time
About the Company:
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in medical coordination, credentialing, and building procedures? We are seeking a Medical Coordinator to play a key role in managing our healthcare facility’s operations while ensuring compliance with medical staff bylaws and credentialing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling and organizing medical meetings and appointments
- Oversee the credentialing process, verifying provider credentials, licensure, and certifications
- Build and improve procedures related to credentialing and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, state, and federal healthcare regulations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of medical staff credentials in alignment with regulatory standards
- Serve as a liaison between medical staff and administration for credentialing, reappointment, and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with the medical team and assist in preparing reports for credentialing committees
- Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including drafting agendas, meeting minutes, and reports
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in healthcare coordination, with credentialing and bylaws knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to build and streamline administrative procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality in managing sensitive records
- Familiarity with medical terminology, credentialing databases, and compliance processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must Know California Bylaws and live in California
Competitive salary based on experience $25-$32
Hours: 6:30am - 2:30pm M-F
