OSP Field Sales Manager (Mid to Senior Level)

Locations / Markets: Michigan, Ohio and Indiana (Must be located in these locations)
Summary of the position:
This role is responsible for generating revenue by managing and expanding existing customer relationships, developing new ones, and retaining and growing the customer base within the Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and strong Rolodex in the telecommunications / Fiber / Broadband industry and a strong understanding of their assigned territory. An entrepreneurial approach is essential for effectively managing these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed financial and customer objectives, including revenue and gross margin targets for products and services.
- Regularly engage with customers to build and strengthen relationships.
- Lead profitability and growth initiatives across business units as directed by management.
- Collaborate with key suppliers and internal teams to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Actively participate in federal and state funding initiatives (e.g., BEAD).
- Manage and execute key initiatives across teams to ensure success within each account.
- Oversee customer relationships to drive both growth and profitability.
- Contribute to additional projects to support strategic goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Driving is an essential function of this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and domain-specific knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, particularly in ISP, OSP, Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU), and Small to Medium Enterprises (SME).
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
- Capable of presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with 10-digit numbers.
- Ability to apply these skills to units of American currency, measurements, volume, and distance.

- Salary: Competitive base plus bonus OTE.
