Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Therapist at Namasport Mental Health Studio located in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Therapist will be responsible for the delivery of mental health services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapy sessions. The Therapist will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate charting and documentation, as well as participating in team meetings and case consultations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology
- Licensed therapist in the state of Illinois
- Experience working with diverse populations and presenting issues
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and crisis intervention skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and engagement in professional organizations
- Understanding of and commitment to providing mental health services in a culturally responsive and anti-oppressive manner
