Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage functional safety activities for automotive systems and components.
- Develop and implement safety concepts and requirements in compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.
- Perform safety analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and HARA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.
- Conduct safety assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on functional safety practices and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of Functional Safety fundamental concepts and an ability to independently apply them to solve novel problems.
- A systems understanding of the vehicle-as-a-whole, including vehicle dynamics.
- Extensive knowledge of the Classic AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR software stacks.
- Knowledge of multiple Real Time and Non-Real Time Operating Systems, Virtual Machines and Hypervisors is advantageous
