Our client is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the management and execution of server platform programs throughout the product lifecycle. This role will drive design and development activities from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing and Architecture teams to translate product specifications into program deliverables
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and introducing products based on specifications and schedules
- Spearhead requirement definition planning, development, and launch processes
- Liaise with sales teams to communicate organizational information, strategies, and capabilities
- Manage the execution of engineering solutions across various components (PCBs, Mechanical, Power, OS, FW, BIOS, Solution SW, Test, Diagnostics) and associated vendors
- Ensure manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs
- Conduct weekly program core team meetings to communicate updates, track progress, and maintain project momentum
- Identify and communicate program risks, define mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate engineering solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the development cycle
- Support engineering and configuration management teams in BOM lifecycle management
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (Master's degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in Server Platform development
- Strong understanding of x86 server system architecture
- Excellent cross-functional team management and interpersonal skills
- Adaptive communication style
- Comprehensive understanding of system-level server platforms and component interactions
- Robust project management skills, particularly in schedule development and milestone tracking
