Job Summary:
The Adobe AEM Lead/Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders to define solutions, strategize architecture, and lead development teams.
This role requires deep technical expertise in Adobe AEM and the ability to architect, develop, and scale high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development teams in a fast-paced environment with frequent releases and tight deadlines.
- Solve critical issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Ability to track technical metrics and continuously improved productivity
Key experience and skills:
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Java/J2EE for enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe AEM 6.4/6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service
- Strong expertise in AEM building blocks (templates, components, dialogs, widgets) and the AEM development and deployment process.
- Proven experience in Java development with hands-on coding and design of scalable, enterprise-level applications.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of Sling, OSGi frameworks, JCR API, and RESTful web services.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and scalable database architecture.
- Familiarity with source control tools like Git.
- Experience with multi-caching solutions for real-time content delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience in fast-paced Agile Scrum environments with hands-on AEM development.
- Ability to deliver scalable, highly available systems while ensuring superior coding standards and DevOps practices.
- Proficient in performance monitoring, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
Key soft skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead remote teams and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in client meetings and guide architectural discussions.
Desirable Qualifications (Good to have):
- Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AEM community (blogs and forums) sites, or similar community sites like Verint is advantageous.
