About this role:
The Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® seeks a highly motivated and innovative individual to fill the role of Director of Membership Engagement to join our leading organization. This position lays a vital responsibility to cultivating GLAR’s overall membership operations, membership experience, growth and retention strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the association and make a positive impact within the real estate industry. As a member of the Executive Management Team, this position also reports to the CEO.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of GLAR’s membership strategy, including defining the member value proposition and executing member retention and recruitment efforts.
- Develop strategies and programs to institute and stimulate the overall GLAR member experience and corresponding segments.
- Identifies opportunities and collaborates with other departments to enhance member benefits and services offered by the Association.
- Provide recommendations and insights into the financial forecasts and annual budget.
- Make recommendations, in collaboration with other departments, to develop timely member programs, networking events, webinars, and other activities to foster a sense of community.
- Build and retain relationships with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.
- Continuously support, identify, research and develop business opportunities for the department and the Association, including but not limited to non-dues revenue programs.
- Ensures annual compliance with the NAR Mandatory Core Standards for Associations of REALTORS® for assigned areas of organizational responsibility
- Oversee all membership tracking and reporting data, including but not limited to accurate membership records, membership application processing and membership trend analysis.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the membership department for current, new and prospective members, including member transfers, offices changes, Supra lockbox system, etc.
- Oversee the annual membership renewal billing and process and corresponding inquiries and work closely with accounting to update membership statuses.
- Create and take part in member outreach activities, broker office visits, member events, etc.
- Overhaul and oversee the new member orientation process.
In conjunction with the CEO, identify relevant training, development opportunities and mentoring for departmental staff.

About You.
5+ years minimum experience with association management, project management, membership processing management, sales support and/ or account management operations.
- Passionate about providing exceptional service to members, affiliates and vendors.
- Experience leveraging action plans to facilitate successful work.
- Effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and written skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders throughout all organizational channels.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, facilitation, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of market trends and changes and provides innovative concepts to adjust accordingly.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Rappatoni, Tangilla or another large AMS platform is a plus.
- Travel and minimum evening hours may be required at key points of the year.
- Passionate about excellence and continuous improvement.

- Active within ASAE, KSAE, Association Forum, or involved in professional association professional societies.
- Serves on various committees at NAR, as assigned or appointed.
- CAE or RCE designation

POSITION LOCATION
Located in Louisville, KY. This is an in-office position.
SALARY DESCRIPTION: With discretionary bonus opportunity. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skillset, experience, qualifications and other job-related factors.
Salary Range: $65k-$75k
