What you will do in this role:
- Works with Director to ensure disaster preparedness plans are up to date and to education staff on plan response, as needed.
- With Director, ensures that staffing meets FTE budget, hiring, training, coaching staff as needed.
- Coordinates orientation with HR and Director of EOC and educates new hires during orientation on required safety guidelines as assigned.
- Makes staff schedules based on hospital census and rotates weekends for all staff.Maintains accurate record keeping for requests for holiday/vacation time and extended leave time and ensures all time cards are prepared for payroll in a timely manner.
- Is available for weekend/off hours on-call rotation.
- Collaborates with all Director of EOC in developing accurate risk management planning and report findings in a timely manner.
- Maintains knowledge of local codes as applies to environment of care and safety issues.Assists with monthly fire and safety drills.
- Follows preventative maintenance schedule of building facilities/equipment.Provides accurate records of such and keeps up to date contact lists that are easily accessible for repairs.
- Assists with monthly safety inspections, documents findings and presents to safety committee as assigned.

Qualifications
- Education:High school degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital settingpreferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements helpful.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.
- Additional Requirements:CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. May be required to work flexible hours.
