Our client is seeking a TMS / EDI Manager with deep expertise in the transportation and logistics industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with hands-on experience in McLeod TMS, EDI integration, and a proven track record of managing IT infrastructure to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing logistics organization.
In this key leadership role, you will drive the technological strategy and ensure that all systems are operating at peak efficiency.
The ideal candidate is located near Tampa, FL, and open to a hybrid work arrangement. However, fully remote candidates will also be considered, with a preference for those residing in the Eastern or Central time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, overseeing all technology operations, projects, and strategy to align with business goals.
- Maintain and enhance our McLeod TMS, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all departments.
- Oversee EDI setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth electronic data exchange with our partners and customers.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices that support the needs of a growing transportation and logistics business.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology solutions that improve efficiency and support company growth.
- Ensure data security, system backups, and disaster recovery protocols are in place and regularly tested.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience in place of a degree.
- 2-3 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific technology needs.
- Proven experience with McLeod TMS and EDI integration is required.
- Familiarity with or experience in evaluating and selecting AI solutions for the logistics industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary: The salary for this position is in the range of $80,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined by the hiring company and is contingent upon the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.
