LHH is working on a Materials Manager position with a longstanding client in Vance, AL. This role is responsible for managing the materials, vendors, incoming and outgoing products, and overall inventory and warehouse operations. This role requires you to have at least a three years in TRUE materials management of direct reports and the ability to be on site. They are able to relocate someone!
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Materials Management and Warehouse management experience
- Experience managing direct reports in materials department
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Experience within logistics, materials planning, manufacturing industry
- WM Module SAP Experience required
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all materials being received; unloaded, stored, and replenished.
- Able to implement principles and practices within the inventory and materials management space
- Able to support legality of operations in planning and allocation of materials
- Budgeting, performance management, managing relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Ability to be on the floor around 20% of the time and manage performance (superintendents and leads are on the floor 80%+ percent of the time)
