Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) Administrator who will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure supporting the DAMS. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets institutional requirements and remains secure, up-to-date, and efficient. This role requires expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and system monitoring, alongside the ability to troubleshoot and remediate vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and maintain the DAMS infrastructure.
- Customize the DAMS to meet organizational and stakeholder needs.
- Monitor system performance, perform audits, and recommend improvements.
- Provide administrative support, including answering user queries and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Oversee DAMS user accounts, permissions, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive assets.
- Ensure backup and recovery processes are in place to maintain data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with the DAMS Core Team on asset management protocols, rights management, and metadata operations.
- Track system usage and performance, providing reports to key stakeholders.
- Participate in projects related to metadata cleanup, duplicate asset remediation, and system integration.
- Work with technical teams and vendors to escalate system issues and make decisions on functionality enhancements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure and AWS, and their integration with DAMS.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Data/Reporting: 6+ years of experience with databases and SQL queries (data manipulation and integration).
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience:
- 6+ years in application and infrastructure monitoring (system performance, identifying issues, troubleshooting).
- 6+ years of experience with backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and system availability.
- 6+ years of experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) for enterprise applications.
- 6+ years of experience with IT infrastructure components (servers, databases, networks, and security protocols).
- 6+ years of experience with vulnerability remediation on enterprise applications and operating systems.
- Programming:
- 6+ years of experience with Python for automation.
- 6+ years of experience writing scripts (e.g., PowerShell/bash).
- Software Tools:
- 6+ years of experience managing, deploying, and administering applications in Azure Cloud.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of metadata operations and taxonomy models.
- Strong background in digital asset management, including applying metadata and designing taxonomy structures.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Change Management.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as GenAI.

This position is 100% remote, but candidates must live within 100 miles of Lexington, MA, to accommodate occasional onsite work as needed.
