Hybrid 3 days onsite / San Carlos (Bay Area)
Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 (DOE)
Must Have: Commercial Real Estate Experience!!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the portfolio, ensuring smooth tenant relations and efficient property management.
- Manage financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation of financial statements, operating expenses, rent collection, and budget development.
- Develop and mentor the property management team to foster talent and support future growth.
- Direct and manage facilities maintenance, tenant improvements, and capital projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Supervise third-party vendors, including building engineers and on-site contractors.
- Participate in property operations setup, including back-of-house operations, major building equipment commissioning, and oversight of operations and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Engage with tenants, addressing concerns or requests promptly and building strong relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the regional team, supporting projects, tours, and tenant engagement requests as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, with required commercial real estate experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with complex building and management systems.
- Extensive operations experience, with knowledge of the full life cycle of building preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly collaborative, with experience managing and coaching direct reports.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
