Join us and make your impact on the future as our next Principal Product Manager. We are seeking a candidate with hands on experience to lead A10’s Application Delivery product lines and solutions, including ADC, SSLi and DNS. To be successful in the role, you will have experience with the following:
- Managing, developing, deploying, or operations of Application Delivery services for large Service Providers, web scalers, or Enterprises.
- Be a product evangelist, promoting your product and solutions to A10 customers, channel & sales, marketing, and working with the engineering team to define and deliver product roadmaps.
- Have a good understanding of networking, application delivery and DNS.
A day in the life:
- Be the authority for technical product roadmap and execution for the application delivery product lines
- Lead customer engagement by presenting the A10 application delivery products and solutions.
- Engage with field personnel, understand customer requirements, use-cases, and end-user-journey and feed these details to engineering (Dev/QA) via PRD’s and Jira requests.
- Work with solutions architects and technical product marketing to create technical solution briefs and other collateral to enable sales and field engineers.
- Work closely with product marketing and sales operation teams to launch your product and solutions and create a path for customer adoption.
- Drive product priorities, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies
- Develop organic and inorganic product roadmaps with a 1-2 year outlook
What do I need to land this role?
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 10 years of experience with Networking and Security Technologies.
- Prior experience in a technical role, including engineering, solution architecture, QA, support or technical marketing.
- Domain expertise in L4-L7 networking, particularly data center networking, application delivery controllers (ADC), DNS, and SSL crypto technologies.
- Experience in security, Web application firewall, Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or private cloud technologies such as OpenStack and container platforms such as RedHat OpenShift is a plus.
- Ability to simplify complex tasks and translate simplification ideas for complex products.

- Ability to thrive in an environment requiring significant multitasking/content switching.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and technical writing skills (English).
- Ability to work under limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues.
- Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners).
- Highly proficient and thorough understanding of tools and techniques deployed in enterprise IT solutions.
