Role Overview
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating leads and sales pipeline coverage for specific territories, mainly through telephone and email. He/she will create a plan that maps to the pipeline development and lead goals for each month, quarter and fiscal year within their territories with a specific focus on lead conversion. This position will work with marketing to ensure that the plans meet the lead generation goals, including building a plan to target certain companies/titles/locations to meet specific sales targets. The Business Development Team Lead and his/her team will support email campaigns, events, and territory marketing campaigns as the business requires.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.
- Work with Regional Directors to prioritize territory outreach
- Generate leads through various outbound methods, mainly cold-calling and emailing contacts from assigned data sheets. Pass qualified leads through to Regional Directors (sales) within territories with a specific focus on high conversion opportunities with CEO and CFO contacts.
- Follow up on any Inbound leads that come from the corporate web site, social media, events, trade shows, advertisement, referrals, etc. The business development rep will need to quickly respond, qualify and process accordingly.
- Support marketing events by reaching out to attendee/prospects before the event to make them aware of Kasasa’s presence as well as following up after the events to convert leads to qualified status and/or set appointments. Events include trade shows, webinars and other B2B campaigns.
- Communicate effectively to Regional Directors the specific value Kasasa can provide to an FI prior to first meetings.
- Effective use of CRM to create a robust list database.
- Effective prioritization, monitoring and follow-up of inbound inquiry traffic from various mediums to increase pipeline coverage.
- Support Get Lit attendance cadences as assigned
- CSAT & Client Success campaign cadences as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Desire to perform lead generation responsibilities including high volume cold calling and email duties.
- Willingness to learn and stay up to date on banking industry knowledge and Kasasa value proposition
- Understanding of outbound lead generation best practices
- High attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
