Our client is building out a new trading function and so a startup mindset is key! We are looking for a strong leader to oversee the Software Development and infrastructure functions with a need of operational experience and an architectural focus. Requirements:
- Lead day-to-day IT operations with a hands-on approach.
- Contribute to a strategic vision for future growth in collaboration and with support from both US and EU colleagues.
- Software Development and Architecture: Act as a Software Development Lead and Solution Architect, leveraging strong architecture skills and experience, to establish a US system landscape. Being a co-driver in driving the migration process of IT systems, ensuring smooth transitions and scalability.
- Work closely with both US and EU colleagues to ensure information and experience sharing.
- Provide leadership to colleagues working in both US (Austin) and DK (remote).
- Possess a start-up mindset attitude with an ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment where it’s required to balance different roles at the same time.
- Several years of experience within IT, ideally in different roles and especially in solution architecture. Prior experience in a trading company is a significant plus, but is not a requirement.
Technology Stack:
- F# (.NET, ASP.NET) – as the main platform
- Python / TypeScript – when it fits a task better
- Docker / Kubernetes – to make the deployment experience seamless
- InfluxDB - persisting time series data
- Kafka - to communicate between systems
