LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled IT Systems and Network Engineer to manage and support our hybrid IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software systems across the organization. You will collaborate with external service providers to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring adherence to system standards and proper documentation throughout the organization. Located in WEST Los Angeles, CA.
This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position, under a W2 (no C2C). Position is hybrid, with one day being remote a week. Employer is not able to support in visa transfer or sponsorship at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware such as Windows and Mac devices, networking equipment, storage devices, VoIP phone systems, video conferencing systems, and video surveillance systems.
- Manage software installations, including server operating systems, Linux administration, virtualization, identity and SSO providers, email services, MDM, SAN, backup, data protection, and monitoring solutions.
- Develop strategic plans for network security and ensure the security of external websites.
- Manage cloud environments, disaster recovery solutions, server backups, and mobile device management/security.
- Administer Active Directory users and groups, physical servers, and maintain the server room environment (minimal).
- Provide architecture and support documentation, offering tier 2 support for help desk technicians and direct user support when needed.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to complete IT projects on time and within budget.
- Assist in managing IT initiatives and provide on-call support to the IT Director as needed.
- Work alongside the IT Director to mentor and guide junior help desk staff.
- Occasional travel to different locations, primarily in Los Angeles, may be required to provide onsite support and manage IT systems.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Entra ID, Windows Server, DNS, WINS, WSUS, cloud environments, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange 365, and Linux administration.
- 2+ years of experience in Fortinet; configuring and setting policies.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in systems and network maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Expected compensation: 115,000 -129,000
