For over 75 years, our client has been a pioneer in developing and building specialized, high-precision next-generation technologies. As a Field Service Engineer, you will install and support mask cleaning equipment.
The position will be a combination of on-site and on-call support with minimal travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- On-site support 4 hours per day (minimum) with 7 x 12 on call coverage requiring a 2-hour response time.
- Install and maintain equipment according to specifications at the customer’s facility in a clean room environment.
- Analyze and review inspection findings to determine the source of malfunctioning problem, and either repair, replace, or take other corrective action.
- Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
- Provide on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Maintain records of equipment performance.
- Recommend modifications to eliminate future problems.
- Be the communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure effective service is provided to the customer.
Key Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree related to electro-mechanical skills required to perform the job plus two years of related work experience.
- Or an associate’s degree related to the electro-mechanical skills required to perform the job plus four years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical and analytical skills; ability to recommend solutions to technical problems
- Self-starter: highly motivated to deliver results and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Physical requirements include regularly lifting and /or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
