Our leading innovative consumer brand is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule onsite in Cupertino, CA, Austin, TX or Seattle, WA. Onsite 3 days a week, 2 days remote. Duration: Long term assignment; extensions approved quarter by quarter.
In this Instructional Designer role, you will:
- Engage with teams across Company's ecosystem with the ultimate goal of building training solutions that will help deliver high-quality annotated data
- Analyze training needs for incoming requests, define training strategies across projects/programs, build training solutions, and collaborate with our regional training teams to ensure the delivery of quality learning experiences
- Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Client Engagement, production operations, and QA to plan and deliver on urgent timelines
- Work closely with Subject Matter experts to distill complex information into digestible content, ensuring that learners of all backgrounds and levels of expertise can grasp and apply critical knowledge
The ideal Instructional Designer will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and developing training materials for instructor-led, virtual instructor-led and e-learnings.
- facilitation and inquiry skills, collaboratively work with team members, subject matter experts (SMEs) and business owners to disseminate feedback and incorporate it to create a comprehensive and audience specific training.
- Knowledge of adult learning methodology is essential and the ability to communicate recommendations for training approach.
- Ability to autonomously manage day-to-day activities of multiple assigned projects, communicate status updates and proactively identify changes in scope of work to ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to assess impacts of scope change.
- Experience carrying out all activities in the Training Development Life Cycle using the ADDIE model.
- Self-directed with strong project management skills and initiative to learn new applications independently.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience designing and developing blended learning using tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia or Articulate Storyline.
- Experience with Confluence, Wrike, Asana, Atlassian, iMovie, Photoshop, Pages and Keynote
- Experience with Adobe Captivate required.
- Experience explaining technical concepts verbally and in written form.
- Experience in virtual training facilitation and engagement techniques.
- Project management experience a plus.
