As an Assistant Project Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and drafters to deliver timely, high-quality projects. You will also manage structural designs, calculations, and contracts while developing strong client relationships. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Leading a team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters to successfully complete projects.
- Motivating and utilizing your team's skills to achieve project success.
- Producing accurate and timely structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details.
- Reviewing project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contractual documents.
- Meeting deliverable deadlines and ensuring projects stay within budget.
- Developing and fostering strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
- Making a positive impact on the community through your hard work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California (Civil or Structural).
- 3+ years of structural engineering design experience.
- Management experience.
- Experience performing structural engineering calculations for commercial, education, and/or solar projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D.
- Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
