Our client, a prestigious immigration law firm, is seeking an attorney to join its team during H-1B cap season and likely beyond. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment-based immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the immigration process. The attorneys should have at least 3 years of experience with H-1B visas, and have supported a busy firm during cap season. Active bar admission is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with H-1B visa applications, renewals, and compliance.
- Prepare and file H-1B petitions, including Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) and supporting documentation.
- Advise employers and foreign national employees on immigration strategies and options.
- Assist with audits and compliance issues related to H-1B visas.
Job Details:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: at least 90 days but could be extended or potentially go temp-to-perm
- Location: Hybrid in San Diego; the attorney should be able to commute to the office 2-3 days per week.
