Harvey Nash has been engaged to find a talented Manufacturing Quality Engineer for our Enterprise Client.
To be eligible, consultants must be local to Cupertino,able to work directly for Harvey Nash on a W2 basis, and not be Visa dependent (No C2C/C2H).
Duration: 12 months
- Strong Quality engineering skills in technical, statistical knowledge, Failure analysis, Exec presentations, and program management experience are essential.
- Drive project quality issues with material, process, fixtures, equipment etc. during the new-product phase to enable delivery of a mature product and manufacturing process into mass production.
- Manage the quality processes at the OEMs, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT).
- Laser-focused on the smallest details and able to use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issues.
- 3+ years proven experience in one or more of the following subject areas: New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations consumer electronics.
- Good understanding of electronic assembly processes
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and production control processes
- Experience partnering with international contract manufacturers in mass production; experience traveling to manufacturing sites.
- Ability to travel internationally about 20%
