We are looking for an Operations Coordinator, who will be responsible for helping improve warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining inventory control, identifying, improving processes, training employees to help make it easier for your colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
30-45 days and ongoing:
- Learn Southern’s processes and procedures within the warehouse and integrated computer system. Perform data entry promptly and accurately to update the company’s database with the required inventory information.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to understand product movement and operations, participating in hands-on tasks such as stocking shelves, pulling products, and packing orders. Learns to receive, store, and restock products efficiently.
- Within 45-60 days, identify pain points in the workflow, consult with fellow employees, and implement changes to streamline processes and improve productivity in the warehouse.
- By 60 days, understand the purchasing system and its functionalities through hands-on experience with purchase order entry.
3 months and ongoing:
- Collaborate with colleagues to tackle operational challenges, process issues, and make good decisions prioritizing orders.
- Perform short-term planning and scheduling while collaborating with the team to allocate space for incoming products.
- Assist collecting payroll data, specifically incentive-related information. Review and analyze employee performance.
- Begin to analyze sales reports and generate purchase orders.
- Assist with inventory control and management including receiving, adjusting inventory levels, and making location changes.
- Operate autonomously while staying aligned with company objectives to ensure an efficient workflow and customer orders ship on time.
6-12 months and ongoing:
- Embrace additional responsibilities based on staffing changes and business requirements, consistently seeking opportunities to support all warehouse operations, purchasing, and front office tasks.
- Continues to collaborate with the team to identify other opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to always enhancing warehouse operations.
- Explore additional responsibilities to continue to grow within the company.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years’ experience in warehouse operations or having dealt with tracking, storing, and organizing products required
- Proven experience handling products and proficiently tracking product moving within the facility required
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and the Google business platform, specifically Gmail required
- Proven ability to effectively accomplish numerous tasks concurrently while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines required
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn, operate, and manage Southern’s systems a must
- Proven knowledge and interest in operations management required; knowledge and interest in purchasing preferred
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field a plus
COMPENSATION & COMPANY BENEFITS INCLUDE:
The compensation range is $65,000 - $80,000 annually; commensurate with experience level and skillset

Working hours: This is a fully in-person position, Monday through Friday, with expected working hours of 8am-5pm. We are a seasonal and customer service focused business, so there will be occasions where more than an 8 hour workday is required (rarely on weekends).
