Internship Description:
We're looking for a motivated current Junior (rising Senior) to join our team as a Sales and Client Relations Intern for the Summer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the InsurTech industry and contribute to our innovative approach to insurance sales.
Education:
- Current Junior (rising Senior) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interest in sales, client relations, and the InsurTech industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Eagerness to learn about insurance products and sales processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in client services by shadowing team members during client interactions
- Help with market research and trend analysis
- Support the customer onboarding process and related documentation
- Contribute to the sales process by preparing materials and participating in team discussions
- Assist in analyzing client needs and developing customized solutions under supervision
- Help maintain and update client databases and sales records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Learn about Harbor.ai's product portfolio, pricing structures, and competitive positioning
- Support compliance-related tasks and assist in preparing reports for management

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to the base salary, Harbor offers PTO, sick time, a hybrid work environment (in-office in the NYC area 1-2 days per week), medical, dental and vision benefits for the employee, as well as access to an employee equity pool.
