Established computer consulting firm is seeking a fulltime tech support rep. Must be detail oriented, organized, hard-working, honest, dependable and punctual. Outstanding interpersonal skills are required for interfacing with clients and consultants. Generous salary with benefits.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Level 1 Support
- Provide technical hardware, software and network support
- Field help desk calls and record initial requests
- Resolve tier one end-user problems
- Escalate tier two requests
- Contact third-party vendors for service repair when required
- Schedule jobs and monitor system activity
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or education
- Excellent Customer Service
- Problem Solving Skills
- Sense of Humor
Applicants must have an intermediate knowledge of the following:
- Windows Server 2012 - 2022
- Hyper-V / VMware
- Active Directory
- MS Exchange Server 2010 - 2019
- MS Office Suite
- MS Outlook
- MS Windows
- MS Remote Desktop Services
- Office 365 Admin
The following are a plus:
- Computer Science or IT Degree
- Microsoft Certification
- Kaseya experience
- Connectwise Manage or other ticket management system
- StorageCraft ShadowProtect Backup experience
- Bitdefender Antivirus experience
- Troubleshooting and installing software in a corporate environment
- Remote troubleshooting and help desk
- Past Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience extremely preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
