Plant General Manager
The Plant General Manager leads all functions of the facility, meeting financial and product goals while ensuring the customer expectations on fulfillment, quality, and food safety are met. Those plant functions include manufacturing, sanitation, maintenance, inventory planning, and fulfillment. The majority of the company's orders are fulfilled on its on trucks. The GM will need to transition from a family-owned, minimally process-driven environment to a professionalized, process and metric-driven company. This will include implementing plant meeting cadences, plant-level metrics, standard operating procedures, and upgraded quality and safety programs. This manager will have the support of the Corporate office and team, but needs to be comfortable managing an independent plant in a different state
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
- BS degree is strongly preferred
- Must have experience leading production operations in a food manufacturing plant
- Pasta or dough experience would be ideal
- Leads with a people first leadership style
- History of getting results with KPI's and being metric driven
- Ability to develop people, process and systems
- Bilingual (Vietnamese or Cantonese) is preferred but not required
