Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining WIP and T&A reports once the order has been received.
- Working closely with the Design and sales team to establish and facilitate fabric and trim flow.
- Working closely with the Design team to make sure all the information is received on time.
- Supports cross–category developments, communications, and initiatives.
- Create and maintain the fabric charts, color standards matching records from Lab dips, Strike -off’s and trim.
- Approve lab dips, Strike off’s, quality of bulk fabric, fabric goods, and trim.
- Review fabric content, care labels, and fabric test reports.
- Enters, maintains, and manages information on the appropriate brands.
- Review and comment on all fabric and trim issues to the vendor daily.
- Create and maintain a fabric and trim library of past productions for future sourcing.
- Ensure all products meet company standards of quality.
- Address and settle all issues and problems with mills, factories, and vendors.
- Communicating changes to factories and progress to all teams internally and addressing any problems with the management team.
- Work closely with the Technical Design team to ensure all fit samples are made in the correct fabric quality throughout the entire fit process.
- Attends Fit sessions to ensure there are no issues on the production side.
Qualifications:
- BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred.
- 6-7 years of production experience, in the apparel/retail space.
- Basic understanding of factory operations, garment construction, costing and logistics.
- Excel skills with strong knowledge of pivot tables, V-look-up, formulas, and analytics.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google applications.
- Superior interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Production Systems, such as AS400 and Blue Cherry.
