We are searching for an Attorney to work for a leading property and casualty insurers in Mid-Atlantic. Responsibilities include providing legal advice and support to company's Contract Management and Compliance teams, as well as company's Corporate Counsel and General Counsel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing third party and vendor agreements
- Providing guidance to colleagues and business leaders on a variety of topics including legal, compliance, corporate, and data protection matters
- Working with teams throughout the company to analyze legal matters, and devise solutions to enable business objectives to be achieved
Requirements:
- Experience handling contracts and/or regulatory matters; prior experience with property and casualty insurance is a plus
- Critical thinking skills and business judgment
- Ability to work independently on projects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make decisions, propose solutions, and solve problems
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer service
- Juris Doctorate degree required
- Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey is required. Additional license to practice law in New York or Pennsylvania is a plus
The salary range for this role is $105,000– $122,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials and a bonus.
