POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Energy Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of energy procurement, efficiency incentives, community solar, and consulting services. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting comprehensive energy audits, analyzing consumption patterns, and devising tailored solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainable practices.
In addition to energy conservation and procurement, you will advise on clean energy initiatives like community solar, enabling clients to participate in shared renewable energy projects that benefit their communities and align with environmental goals. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients to develop integrated energy management strategies that encompass efficiency improvements, strategic procurement, and renewable energy engagement. Your role will focus primarily on Northwestern Pennsylvania, however, consultative opportunities may extend across the United States.
JOB DUTIES:
Energy Procurement Strategies:
- Assist clients in navigating energy procurement processes, including negotiating contracts and evaluating supplier proposals.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to optimize energy procurement decisions.
Community Solar Initiatives:
- Educate and advise clients on community solar opportunities, facilitating participation in shared renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess feasibility, benefits, and financial implications of community solar or other renewable energy programs.
Comprehensive Energy Audits and Assessments:
- Coordinate thorough energy audits to evaluate current consumption levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze energy usage data and equipment efficiency to recommend optimization strategies.
Energy Efficiency Solutions and Recommendations:
- Help develop customized energy efficiency plans integrating technology upgrades, operational improvements, and behavioral changes.
- Advise on renewable energy options, energy storage solutions, and sustainable practices.
Client Consultation and Collaboration:
- Consult with clients to understand their energy goals, operational challenges, and community engagement objectives.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of comprehensive energy management plans tailored to client needs.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Review and present detailed reports documenting audit findings, efficiency recommendations, procurement strategies, and community solar impacts.
- Maintain accurate records of project milestones, client communications, and financial outcomes
