We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of exquisite pieces.
Job Description:
As a CNC Machinist at XOMOX, you will play a critical role in our production process, utilizing CNC equipment to create precision components, jigs, fixtures, holders, and finished products. You will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines, ensuring that all products meet our exacting quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, Siemens NX, and/or others, as well as exposure to HAAS Mill, Lathe, and Multi-AXIS machines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to create precise jewelry components, jigs, fixtures, holders, and finished products
● Work with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360) to interpret designs and produce parts.
● Ensure products meet the high-quality standards expected in fine jewelry manufacturing.
● Collaborate closely with designers and other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
● Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
● Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to specifications.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
● Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and team needs.
● Work onsite Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM in Midtown Manhattan, overtime if needed
● Full time /Part time
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a high-precision industry
● Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Siemens NX, and/or others)
● Hands-on experience with HAAS machines (Lathe, Mill, Multi-Axis) and other high-precision equipment
● Strong mathematical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
● Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
● Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and manage time effectively.
● Prior experience in the jewelry industry is a plus but not required.
Education:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
