Salary: $85k - $90k
Overview: Seeking a Product Development Engineer with 3+ years of experience in electronic product development, focusing on IoT applications, to design, develop, and optimize electronic products for conveyor systems.
Must Haves / Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ yrs. in electronic product development with a focus on industrial electronic products.
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.
Nice to Have / Preferred:
- Experience in designing electronics for conveyor systems or similar industrial applications.
- Familiarity with design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer, MATLAB, or similar.
- Programming skills in languages like C/C++ and Python for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, CoAP) and wireless communication technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of electronic products and systems for conveyor applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost targets are met.
- Implement and optimize IoT technologies for real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and system control, integrating wireless communication protocols and cloud-based solutions.
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components with mechanical systems and software applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals, ensuring all technical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ yrs. in electronic product development with a focus on industrial electronic products..
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
