Role Summary:
A well-established, global leader in chemical and metal manufacturing seeks a Health and Safety Manager to partner with their Environmental Manager and other operations and engineering team members to develop, implement, and enforce health and safety plans, policies, and procedures.
Comp/Benefits:
The base salary range is $100-$140K+ DOE, with a 20% bonus target, comprehensive benefits, and generous PTO. Working onsite daily with flexible start times
Qualifications:
- BS Chem, Environmental Safety, or similar
- 3-5+ years as a health and safety professional in chemical manufacturing, refinery, metals, or similar ISO 9001 environment
- Ability to lead safety training and inspections and enforce policies
- ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 implementation a plus
Requirements:
- Only considering local candidates
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Willing to work onsite daily, wear steel-toe boots, and if applicable, maintain clean-shaven face to adhere to safety policies, including wearing required PPE
